Angel Silver Braun, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on Monday, November 20, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Louis Silver and the late Odile Daigle Silver.Angel proudly served as a police officer with the Ponchatoula Police Department before retiring.Angel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lari B. and James Sasser; son, Lonnie Louis Braun; grandchildren, Victoria Sasser, Alexis Anderson and her husband, David Anderson II, Angel Sasser, and Jamie Braun; and great-grandchildren, David and Liam Anderson.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Raymond Bernard Braun, and her brother, Albert Silver.Family and friends will be received at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am.A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday at 11:00 am.
