Carl A. Hausman of Walnutport, PA, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Carl A. Hausman, 89 years of Walnutport, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Serfass) Hausman for 62 years this past July. Born in New Tripoli, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Krause) Hausman.
He graduated from Parkland High School in 1955 and was a layout operator with AT&T for many years. Carl was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, participated and enjoyed baseball and softball. Also, he enjoyed a challenging game of Checkers. Carl was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed spending time with his family and was willing to sacrifice anything for them. He honorably served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Survivors: wife, Ruth, sons, Dean J. Hausman and Dale C. Hausman, siblings, Richard Hausman and Ruth Depper.
Services: Viewing, 10 to 11 AM, Funeral Service at 11 AM, on Thursday, May 7 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd, New Tripoli. Interment, Church Cemetery.
