Our beloved grandmother, Catherine Ann (Benecki) Thimons, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026 at her home.
Catherine Ann Benecki was born on November 11, 1939 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania to Henry Benecki and Anna Benecki. (Massick). She married her high school sweetheart Charles Thimons of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania in 1960 and had two children, Kenneth and Charles Thimons.
Catherine was a homemaker in crafter who enjoyed cooking. sewing, bird-watching and especially spending time with her 4 grandchildren and 6great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
She has survived by her husband of 65 years Charles Thimons, sister Helen Zoller of California, grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mario, Mallory, and Vincent Thimons, as well as 6 great grandchildren, Tristan, Cayden, Isla, Delaney, Scarlett, and Teigan.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2 PM until time of funeral service at 4 PM at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Rd. at Alder St. Burial will be private. www.RusiewiczFH.com
