Kay died peacefully at 101 years of age on May 1st after a blessed life full of love.
Beloved wife of the late William J. Dignan.
Loving mother of Cathy Sawyers and Terry (Maureen) Dignan.
Cherished Grandma D of Kristin (Megan), Amy (Gavin), Dan (Casey), Emily (Andrew), Megan and Matt (Mary Kate).
Proud great grandmother of Owen, Genevieve, Lula, Leo, Sid, and Polly.
Devoted daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (nee Byrne) Manhatton.
Preceded in death by her siblings.
Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Kay was a quiet, patient, and prayerful woman of great faith; devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were an enormous source of joy, light and peace in her life. She was a stellar golfer, avid Chicago sports team fan and a secret Green Bay Packers fan!
Visitation Friday, 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 12:00 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy and Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W 151st Street, Orland Park, IL.
Interment Private
