Charles David "Chick" Kuhn Jr. of Warminster, PA has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.
What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.
The heart keeps better records than the calendar.
Charles David Kuhn Jr., of Warminster, PA, died peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was 85 years old.
Charles was the husband of Charlene Rogers; the couple had shared over 47 years of love, family and good memories.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Charles was the son of the late Charles D Sr. and Mildred Griffith Kuhn.
"Chick" was known for his, sometimes, whacky sense of humor. He was quick to tell a story about his days as a long-haul truck driver. He was never short on a story to tell. Chick also loved the casinos, spending many a day/night in Atlantic City. If you were lucky enough to accompany him on a trip to AC, you know how well known he was at the casinos. A long phone conversation with an old "buddy" was his favorite pastime. He would talk for hours, to almost anyone. If you were a friend of Chicks, you know that anything you needed was only a phone call away. Working on cars and boats (that never left the back yard) was another favorite hobby. Most of all, his family, friends and pets were the most important to him.
In addition to his wife Charlene, Charles will be missed by his children, Kelly A. Emsley and her husband William, along with Jehu Ross and his wife Jaymie. Also surviving is his nephew, Chad Matthews, who meant the world to him.
He was the best Grandpop to Bryce, Daniel, Blake, Brynn, Noah and Hunter and Great Grandpop to Frankie and Marnie.
Charles was pre-deceased by his best four-legged friend, Stormi, his loyal pit bull-poodle mix.
Services will be announced shortly.
Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
