Charles Edwin Eaton of Middleboro, MA, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Charles E. Eaton (Cappy) of Middleboro, MA passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Cappy was a lifelong Middleboro resident, who served in the National Guard, and spent his career working as a machinist at a local fabrication plant.

He enjoyed playing shuffleboard, watching sports (Go Pats!), cookouts, family gatherings, and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his four sisters, Charlene Eaton, Diane Eaton, Marjorie Chase and husband Ronald Sr, Carol Elmes, his two daughters, Tammy Kelly and husband Thomas, Wendy Eaton, his step children, Heidi Letendre and husband Richard Jr., Karen Cowan and husband Karl, Katie Roos, Eric Jewell, as well as dozens of grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives.

We will miss you Cappy!

Visiting hours on May 7, 2026 (Thursday) from 4 until 6 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.
