Cynthia Grace Rawson of South Haven, MI has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

On May 1, 2026, Cynthia Grace Rawson passed away and entered her rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born on November 11, 1939 in Kalamazoo Michigan to Miner and Janita Vandersalm. United in marriage on June 20, 1959 to the late Lester Henry Rawson.
Cynthia is survived by sons: Jeffrey (Ellisha) Rawson and Lester (Trish) Rawson Jr and four grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, daughter Shari Belinda Rawson and two sisters.
Cynthia enjoyed her hummingbirds, was a passionate reader, and was an avid gardener. Strong in life, she mowed her 5-acre property herself up until just last year, and, stronger in spirit, Cynthia was a devout follower of Christ and longtime member of Kibbie Christian Reformed Church in South Haven, MI.
Visitation for Cynthia will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home, 1076 S. Bailey Ave. South Haven, Michigan 49090. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 p.m. at Lee Twp Cemetery where Cynthia will be laid to rest next to her husband Lester.
