Danna Jean Skipper of Panama City, FL, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved her dearly.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

The heart keeps better records than the calendar.

Danna Jean Henderson Skipper, 76 went home to the lord at her residence on April 14,2026. She was born on May 27, 1949 in Carrabelle, Florida.

She went to Gulf Coast Community College where she received her nursing degree. She then she began working at HCA Gulf Coast Medical Center.

Danna was married to Carter Skipper for 46 years. She and Carter enjoyed the outdoors, sitting in their chairs and just spending time with each other. They both will be truly missed by their family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carter Skipper, and her sisters: Myrna Winchester, Mary Hunter, Connie Perkins and her brothers, Jerry Henderson and John Ed Sheffield.

Danna is survived by her daughter, Samantha Sue Carter, stepson, Stephen Skipper (Molly), grandchildren; Dana Carter (Brail), Nicholas Carter (Kierra), six great-children; Zaylen, Lakynn, Damari, Lynlee, Klayton and Savarrah, brother-in-law, Richard Starkey (Marlene), numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends, along with her fur-baby, Pookey.
