April 10, 1962 - April 27, 2026 David born April 10, 1962 and passed on April 27, 2026.David was involved in Kajukenbo, as the rank of Professor. Not only a discipline but a cornerstone of his life. He passed it to his children, grandchildren, and countless students. Also, a lifelong member of Yuma BMX, remaining active in Yuma Bikelife. He was a Volkswagen enthusiast, and loved his VW Bug.David is survived by his wife, Yanet Lucero; daughter, Theresa Lucero-Straub (Kevin); sons, Michael, Noah and Kai Lucero; grandchildren, Elijah and Oliver Straub; brothers, Peter Lucero (Richard Todd) and Raymond Lucero. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramona and Jacinto Lucero; sister, Cynthia Gloria. Viewing at Johnsons Mortuary Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 5:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass Thursday, May 14, 2026, 10:30am, at Immaculate Conception Church, graveside service to follow at Desert Lawn.
