Devin Tyler Vandenburg of Bloomfield, NJ, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Devin Tyler Vandenburg, age 28, of Bloomfield, New Jersey, passed away on April 30, 2026. Born on April 5, 1998, Devin was a devoted Information Technology Specialist who held a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and was known for his calm demeanor, empathetic nature, and thoughtful counsel. His radiant smile had the power to brighten any room he entered. Devin was an avid gamer and enjoyed a variety of adventurous activities such as ziplining, ATV riding, and even riding a mechanical bull. He played tennis in high school and embraced the camaraderie of playing video games (Dungeons and Dragons, Skyrim, Dark Souls, Leagues of Legends, etc.) with his huge circle of friends. He loved traveling and cherishing time with family and friends, always approaching life with a spirit of adventure. He is survived by his mother, Mursha Vandenburg (née Peters); his father, Vanrick Vandenburg; and his brother André Vandenburg; sister-in-law Kyle Swoyer, and their fur baby, Henny; his grandmothers, Ena Vandenburg and Iverene Peters; many beloved aunties, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Devin was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers. His warmth, leadership, and kindness touched all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
