After a life of love and quiet grace, Eleanor Mary "Peppy" Morley, 80, of Scituate, MA, MA has passed.

Eleanor entered this world in 1945 — the start of a journey that would span 81 years.
Eleanor spent her working life as ['substitute teacher at Wampatuck Elementary School in Scituate'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Eleanor saw decades come and go, and held the lessons of each.
Eleanor Mary "Peppy" Morley, a longtime resident of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was eighty years old. She was born on July 2, 1945 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts-on her mother's birthday-and was the eldest daughter of Edward Wallace and Eleanor Mary Pyne. She was raised in Belmont and spent her summers in Scituate, a place that later that become her lifelong home. She graduated from Lesley College.Peppy devoted her life to her family. She married Paul B. Morley, and together they built a home in Scituate, where they raised their three children. She found her greatest joy in being with loved ones and remained closely connected to her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews throughout her life.In addition to raising her family, Peppy worked as a substitute teacher at Wampatuck Elementary School in Scituate, where she enjoyed spending time with children and being part of the school community.Peppy had a warm and social spirit and enjoyed many happy times with family and friends at the Scituate Harbor Yachet Club. She was deeply creative and expressed her love through sewing and knitting. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Buddy, who was one of the great loves of her life.She is survived by her three children: Kate-Ellen and her husband Gregg Saunders; Paul Morley and his wife Christel Morley; and Kerrie and her husband, Craig Hamner. She also leaved behind eight cherished grandchildren-Deidre, Shane, Tim, Brendan, Ryan, Ben, Will and Sam-who brought her immense joy.A private burial service will be held.Sweet Peppy, rest in peace.
