Evelyn E. Palmisano of Bristol, CT has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.
Behind every name is a life, and behind every life are the people who loved it.
Evelyn spent her working life as ['Morin Corporation until taking time to raise her three loving children'] and held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Belief, when lived, becomes a kind of inheritance.
Evelyn Elaine (Erling) Palmisano, 75, of Bristol, CT, beloved wife of William Vito Palmisano, Jr. of 55 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Evelyn's caring and generous nature touched all who knew her.
In her early career, Evelyn worked for Morin Corporation until taking time to raise her three loving children. Carrie Quick (Scott), Victoria Pauline Palmisano, and William Vito Palmisano III (Wendy). As her children grew, Evelyn went on to work for The Hartford until her retirement.
Evelyn's greatest joy was spending time near the ocean, vacationing, shopping, baking or planting flowers with her two granddaughters, Ava Lynn Curtis and Emily Marie Palmisano. Her legacy will live on through all the special memories she created with her family.
In addition, Evelyn is survived by her brothers Kenneth Erling and Robert Erling, and her sister, Jeanne Allen. She was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis (Lynn) Erling and August Hubert Erling, her brother, Gordon Erling, and her mother and father-in-law, Frieda (Wentland) Palmisano and William Vito Palmisano, Sr.
Evelyn was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bristol, CT. Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort in each other and in the friends and family who knew and loved her. She is at peace, enjoying the sunshine in a paradise filled with beautiful flowers like those in her backyard.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
