Gregory Allan "Greg" Van Zandt of Merritt Island, FL has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Here is what we wish the world to know of Gregory.

Gregory held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Belief, when lived, becomes a kind of inheritance.

Gregory A. Van Zandt, lovingly known as Greg, passed away following complications from pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne M. Van Zandt, and his father, Larry F. Van Zandt.

Greg is survived by his beloved family: Christian A. Van Zandt Sr, Lawrence A. Van Zandt, and Stephanie M. Heineman, Nephews: Alex, Jeff, Michael and Nieces: Kristin and Carla, along with a large and loving extended family who will continue to cherish his memory.

Greg's life was centered on faith, family, and service. He had a deep love for the Lord and faithfully served through his church, where he found great joy singing in the choir. Music and worship were constant sources of peace and purpose in his life.

He embraced life fully and found happiness in making memories with those he loved. Greg especially enjoyed taking cruises with friends and family, decorating Christmas trees during the holidays, and gathering loved ones together. A talented and passionate cook, he took particular pride in teaching his nieces how to cook, passing along both skills and treasured time together.

Professionally, Greg dedicated 25 years of service to Wells Fargo. Throughout his long career, he was known as a trusted, dependable, and compassionate professional. He was respected by his coworkers and genuinely appreciated by both colleagues and customers alike.

Greg will be remembered for his faith, generosity, warmth, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. His legacy lives on through the many people he loved, served, and inspired.

A Celebration of Life honoring Greg's life will be held on June 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Park Avenue Baptist Church, Titusville FL
