Amber Lynn Edwards age 32 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born March 31, 1994 to the late Ricky Whittimore and Stephanie Lynn Hayes Whittiemore. Amber worked in the medical field as a CNA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Caraline Grace Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Braxton Edwards of Brownsville; son, Knox Edwards of Brownsville; step-father, Thomas Whittiemore; sister, Brittany Pruett (Eric Crutchfield) of Bells; grandparents, Barbara and David Hayes of Brownsville and Ruby and Everette Whittiemore of Stanton; uncles and aunts, Lynn and Cindy Whittimore of Stanton, and Jeremy and Amanda Hayes of Atoka; niece, Brooke Crutchfield; nephews, Austin Brasfield and Levi Crutchfield as well as a host of additional family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Amber's life will be conducted Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant Community Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
