The family of Ana Carolina Medina Castillo of Frisco, TX announces her passing, and invites all who knew her to remember her here.

What follows is written with love, by those who knew her best.

A parent leaves not only memory, but the people they helped become.

Ana Carolina Medina Castillo was born in Monterrey, NL, Mexico on September 5, 1992, and passed away on April 25, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She did not go quietly. She fought with everything she had, with grit, humor, and a strength that left people in awe.

Ana was the kind of person who said what everyone else was thinking, but funnier. She had a sharp wit, an unfiltered honesty, and a way of making people feel seen, called out, and loved all at the same time. Being around her meant laughing, sometimes at her jokes and sometimes at yourself, but always more than you expected.

She earned her bachelor's in nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, a reflection of her determination and drive. On August 4, 2017, she married her best friend, Josue Javier Negron, in Richardson, Texas. Together they built a life full of adventure, chaos, love, and a lot of stories that will probably get better every time they are told.

Ana found joy in the little things, chocolate chip cookies, Twinkies, Sabritones, and spicy Mexican candies, but she never stayed still for long. She had an adventurous spirit that took her across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Greece, France, Peru, Spain, Japan, and more. She did not just visit places, she experienced them fully, the same way she lived her life.

Above everything, Ana was a mother. Her children were her world, and she poured everything she had into them, her love, her humor, her strength, and her fire. That part of her will live on in them every single day.

Ana will be remembered for her bold spirit, her humor, and the way she showed up fully, no pretending and no holding back. She loved deeply, fought fiercely, and lived loudly. Her impact does not end here. It carries on in the people she loved, the lives she shaped, and the memories no one will ever forget.

She is deeply missed and forever loved.

Ana is survived by her loving husband, Josue Javier Negron, her children, Eliana Negron, Elias Negron, and Elaina Negron, her mother, Susana Castillo, and her sisters, Karina Medina, Jamie Hurtado and Jessica Hurtado.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00 PM. The service will also be livestreamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/ana-carolina-medina.

--
