Carolyn J. Sarnicky, 76 of Whitehall passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Bethlehem North Nursing & Rehab.

Born in Aransas Pass, Texas, she was the daughter of Edward J. and Agnes (Griffin) Brown. She was the wife of the late John D. Sarnicky with whom she shared 37 years of marriage prior to his passing in February of 2004.

Carolyn graduated from Carson High School in California. She was a seamstress for the former Clyde Shirts.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was dedicated to the service of her family. She was known for her patient and loving nature, she always put the needs of others before her own.

Carolyn had a passion for arts and crafts and wild horses. She found her true happy place traveling to Chincoteague Island to watch the wild horses. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons John D. Sarnicky and wife Rebecca and Jeffrey D. Sarnicky and wife Christine; grandchildren Jacob and Alexandra Sarnicky and Cassandra and Nolan Sarnicky. She was predeceased by her grandson Nicholas Sarnicky and sisters Valerie, Barbara, Gayle, Betty and Mary.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made directly to: The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
