The family of Claudia Beth Pierce of Appleton, WI announces her passing, and invites all who knew her to remember her here.
Below, a small portrait of a life that will not soon be forgotten.
We measure lives in love, not minutes.
Claudia Beth Anderson Pierce born November 26, 1976. She passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2026, due to natural causes. She left this world far too soon, but the love, laughter, and community she created will continue to live on through everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Beth had a rare gift for creating community wherever she went. She made strangers feel like old friends and turned ordinary places into spaces filled with warmth. Her laughter was unforgettable; full-bodied, contagious, and often followed by her signature, wild cackle that made everyone around her laugh too. Her sweet crows feet were proof of a life filled with smiles, joy, and decades of shared laughter.
The way she brought people together was vast. Whether it be a small little porch wine group, a chaotic game night, or putting together a huge storytellers group. She personally impacted hundreds, if not thousands of lives and she did it effortlessly.
Beth lived boldly and embraced many adventures. She was a traveler, always curious about the world and the people in it. She worked in digital marketing, as a model, a restaurant manager, an entrepreneur, a delivery driver, a teacher, an event coordinator, a writer and many others; each role reflecting her adaptability, and independence, and fearless spirit. No matter where her life took her, she approached it with resilience and love.
Of all the titles she carried, the one she was most proud of was Mom. She was a loving mother. Her children were her heart, her purpose, and her proudest accomplishment. She loved fiercely, protected deeply, and gave endlessly.
I was going to initially include a story here about all the ways she showed her love and support for us, but over the last few days of sorting through some personal belongings, I think this articulates who she was as a mother. While pulling her pictures down off the walls and going through totes labeled, Xmas, Halloween, camping, dishes, etc. everything had our childhood artwork sprinkled in it. I found handwritten letters addressed to my mom with almost every word misspelled. I found my fourth grade baseball participation trophy. I found my little brother's teeth in a random wooden box in the living room. She never threw anything away. She never wanted to forget a single piece of horrible artwork we created, or moments and memories she associated these things with.
Beth leaves behind more than memories. She leaves behind a legacy of connection, laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. She taught those around her how to show up for people, how to make space for joy, and how to love loudly. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit will remain in every shared laugh, every gathering of loved ones, and every act of kindness done in her honor.
Though her time here was far too short, Beth lived fully, loved deeply, and made this world brighter simply by being in it. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
