David held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Faith gave David a place to stand, and a place to return to.

David Keith Rigdon, 52, passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2026 while at his home. He was born in Fulton County, GA to the late Richard Woodrow Rigdon and Rhonda Scott Rigdon. He is also predeceased by his grandparents, Ruth and Woodrow Rigdon.

Left to cherish his memory are his aunts, Faye Rigdon of Kings Mountain, NC, Brenda Arnold and husband, Randall of Taylor, SC, their children, Jason Talley, Andrew Arnold, Tara Smith and husband Rocky, Sheila Walker and husband, Chris of Kings Mountain, NC, their child, Matthew Walker.

During his lifetime, David worked in Construction. He was a member of Sparrow Springs Baptist Church. David always walked into the room with a big hello and smile. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at Sparrow Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
