Docie Ethel Mae Fowler, 81, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2026, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia Chapel. Burial will follow in New Prospect M.B. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2026, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.The last surviving sibling of the Langdon family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Howard Fowler; son Howard Lavon Fowler; sister, Geneva Brown; and brothers, James, Junior, and William Langdon Bey. She leaves to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Dorothy Fowler of Philadelphia, MS; Denise (Tony) Johnson, Deloise Fowler and Yolanda Fowler all of Milwaukee, WI; 4 grandsons Antione (Vinyette) Fowler, Antonio Johnson, James Johnson and Bryson Fowler all of Milwaukee, WI; 2 granddaughters, Tamillia (Charles) Mason and Bre’Ana Fowler both of Milwaukee, WI, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces/nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
