The family of Donna Jean Perrigo of Clay, NY announces her passing, and invites all who knew her to remember her here.
A life remembered begins, simply, with the telling.
A parent leaves not only memory, but the people they helped become.
Donna Jean Perrigo, 75, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, following a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Born in Syracuse, New York, in 1951, Donna shared more than 55 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Kevin Perrigo. There is comfort in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life, Kevin. Together, they built a family that became Donna's greatest pride and most cherished accomplishment. If you asked Donna what she loved most in life, she would answer without hesitation: time spent talking with and being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were truly her world and would do anything for them.
Donna was known as one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet-kind, gentle, and never one to speak negatively about anyone. She always took a genuine interest in how others were doing, never focusing on her own needs. Her warmth and quiet grace left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Simply put, she was the best. Donna especially enjoyed sharing simple joys with Kevin, including watching the New York Yankees and listening to music together. She spent many years working for Fashion Bug and later for Marine Midland Bank. She had a fondness for collecting special treasures, including jewelry, Beanie Babies, purses, and more.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Kevin Perrigo; parents, Leon and Shirley DeCarr.
She is survived by her brother, Leon DeCarr; her five children, Kelly Nevi, Kevin Perrigo Jr. (Courtney), Keith Perrigo (Sara), Kerry Davies (Robert), and Kristin Henrich (Justin); eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 1 PM at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Pine Plains Cemetery.
