Elaine C. McMahon, age 92 of Lena, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Elaine was born on July 13, 1933 to the late William and Agnes (Vondross) Houska. On May 24, 1952, Elaine married Joseph "Melvin" McMahon in Menominee, MI. The couple farmed in the Towns of Maple Valley and Spruce for many years. Elaine enjoyed gardening.
Elaine is survived by her children, Daniel (Shirley) McMahon, Don (Roxanne) McMahon, and Sherry (Fiancé Charles Bohm) Francis; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; siblings, Harvey Houska, Jerry Houska, and Helen (Robert) St. Louis.
Per Elaine's wishes, no services will be held. She will be interred at Pine Hill Cemetery beside Melvin. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
