Gary G. Stanley, 69, of Bonner Springs

Gary G. Stanley, 69, of Bonner Springs, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 4, 1956.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, OG Stanley, and his mother, Dorothy Stanley.

He is survived by his partner of 39 years, Renee Stanley; his son, Danny Smith (Christy); his daughter, Heather Clyne (Brian); and his four grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Tanner Smith (Margo), Tate Clyne, and Dane Clyne. Gary will be dearly missed by a long list of extended family and friends.

Gary built and operated a successful floor covering business and was known as a hardworking family man who could fix just about anything. He truly valued time with family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people laugh.

Adventurous at heart, Gary and Renee loved to travel, attend concerts, and especially enjoyed riding their motorcycles. Gary had a knack for attention to detail and the ability to make things beautiful. His presence, kindness, and sense of adventure will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Gary's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A private service and celebration of life to honor Gary will be held at a later date.
