Grant Andrew Flynn, 60, from Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, April 28th.
Grant was born on June 29, 1965 in Hawarden, lowa to Taylor and Kathleen Flynn. He was the oldest of four boys. Grant was married to Shannon Stickel on June 17, 1987.
They began their married life in the mountains of Colorado where Grant was able to pursue his love of the outdoors. Hiking, camping with close, special friends, and the challenge of the 14'ers with his brothers were some of his happiest times. Their sons, Jake and Kane, were born during their time in Colorado. He was so very proud of them both.
Grant knew early on that carpentry would be his career and it came very naturally to him.
Grant is survived by his wife, Shannon, his sons, Jake (Emily), and Kane, his mother Kathleen Flynn, and his three brothers, Paul (Christa), Jay (Aimee), and Colin (Juliette). He was preceded in death by his father, Taylor.
Grant was a man of few words who will be missed by so many.
