Kieth Lawrence Buckner, 70, of Palmyra, TN died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville with Pastor Ronald Rigsby officiating. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Chicago, IL he was born April 4, 1956 the son of the late Harold Westley Buckner and Betty Jane Warnke Buckner. He was a member of the CB Radio Club. Kieth's full and varied life was reflected in his expertise in maintaining vibrant aquariums and playing guitar with finesse. His green thumb and dedication to gardening were evident in the meticulous care he provided to his plants. Family gatherings often featured his impressive pool shooting and fishing skills. His ability to repair anything from bicycles to automobiles, Kieth was the go-to handyman. Engaging with him in conversation guaranteed an enriching experience, as one could not help but learn something new in minutes.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Rebecca Jane Davidson.
Survivors include his children: Heather (Arsenio) Crenshaw of Clarksville, TN, James Buckner, Sr. of Palmyra, TN, and Joshua (Susan) Buckner, Sr. of Hopkinsville, KY; and his sisters: Carol (Kenneth) Johnson of Calvert City, KY and Anna (Jerry) Harper of Cadiz, KY; and his grandchildren: Xavious Sims, Michael Moore, Lariah Baker, Joshua Buckner, Jr., Briahna Buckner, James Buckner, Jr., Heidi Buckner, Kylie Buckner, Zayden Crenshaw and Aiden Crenshaw; and his great grandchild: Wyatt Shreves.
