Kim Guek Ouk, age 77, passed away unexpectedly leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. Born on May 25, 1948, in Tek Veil Commune, S'Ang District, Kandal Province in Cambodia.Kim was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Rin Ouk, with whom she married in 1965 and shared 61 years of partnership and unwavering support. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring love—a foundation that continues through the generations.She was a proud and loving mother to her six children, whom she raised with patience, wisdom, and quiet strength. She instilled in them the values of hard work, compassion, and the importance of family. Her love only grew as she welcomed nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren into her life. She treasured every moment spent with them, whether through shared meals, stories, or playing card games. She took immense pride in watching her family grow.Kim will be remembered for her spunky spirit, generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel cared for and welcome. She had a gift for bringing people together, often expressing her love through acts of kindness, nurturing, and dedication to those she held dear. Her strength carried her through life’s challenges, and she remained a steady source of comfort and encouragement for her family.She is survived by her husband, Rin, her six children: Chandara (Kanha), Sovann (Ivonne), Sotheary (Steve), Sambo (Katie), Vannary (Pheakdey), and Khemarind (Brittany), her nine grandchildren: Brandon, Matthew, Tiya, Bethany, Cecilee, Ethan, Bella, Anthony, and Leilani, her great-grandchildren: Oliver, Opal and Brite.Her legacy is one of love, unity, and resilience. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the family she so dearly cherished.The family will hold a traditional Cambodian ceremony and funeral service to honor her life and legacy on Saturday, May 9, 2026. There will be a Cambodian Traditional Ceremony held at 9:30 am at 505 North 730 East Smithfield, Utah 84335.There will be a viewing held at 2:00 pm at White Pine Funeral Services, 753 South 100 East, Logan, Utah 84321. Following the viewing, there will be a funeral service held at 2:30 pm in the White Pine Chapel.Kim will be cremated at 4:00 pm at Cache Valley Crematory, 710 West 500 North, Hyde Park, Utah 84318.Funeral service can be viewed live via ZOOM by clicking this link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81634238998
