Lois Evelyn Lee, age 94, of Middleville, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. Evelyn was born in West Virginia, on February 21, 1932, to Paul J. Sheets and Theophilus C. Pauley. A dedicated homemaker and prolific seamstress, Evelyn was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Bradley and found great joy in her many creative hobbies, including crocheting, knitting, quilting, gardening, and painting.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, LJ Lee, in 2020; her sons, Duane and Randy Lee; and several siblings: Sandra Sheets, Adeline Hladik, and Froud, Dave, Paul, and Marcella Sheets. She is survived by her sons, Gerald Lee, Larry Lee, and Ted (Carol) Lee; daughters-in-law, Mary Sue Lee and Joyce Lee; her brothers, Phillip (Judy) Sheets and Bruce (Judy) Sheets; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Beeler-Gores Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Priest Eric Lee officiating. Interment will take place at Coman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Church of Christ in Bradley.
