Mr. Lonnie R. Jones, age 77, of Westmoreland, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at Wilson Vanderbilt in Lebanon. Funeral services for Lonnie Jones are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11 AM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Brother Glenn Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in The Shrum Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4 PM until 9 PM, and on Thursday from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Liz Rosser Jones; Parents, Carlean and Mary Louise Smith Jones; Sister, Judy Faye Jones; Brothers, Freddie Jones, Carl "Hix" Jones, and Hubert Jones; and Brothers-in-law, Tommy Christian, Ralph Duffer, and Larry Sebert.
