There are losses that teach us the weight of a life.
Mary Waldo was born February 12,1951 in Vallejo, California to Richard and Ruth George, who were serving in the Coast Guard at the time. Regrettably, Mary left this world on January 18,2026 in Fruitland, ID.Most of her adult life was spent in Oregon, where she worked in the plastics industry. She married Paul Waldo on November 19, 1983. In 2017 they retired to Sunny Valley, OR, where they enjoyed the quiet tranquility of the Southern Oregon Landscape. They were happily married for 42 years.Mary loved her grandchildren, with whom she left many wonderful memories. She was fond of crochet work with the many friends she served as caregiver.Mary was preceded in death by her son Keith. She is survived by her husband, Paul, her son Dwayne Adams, daughters Rhonda Dooney and Louann Johnson and stepdaughter Laura Suitter; 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.A Memorial Service will be held on May 16, 2026 at the Northwest Christian Church, 2315 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132 at 1:00 in the afternoon.
