Quinton spent his working life as ['Hayes Axel in Seminole until his retirement'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
The ordinary days are often the ones we miss most.
Quinton Doyle Davidson, passed away at the age of 81 on May 3, 2026, at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born March 20,1945 in Seminole to Clinton Theodore Davidson and Lola Teresa (Lindsay) Davidson. He grew up mostly in Seminole but spent his younger years in New Mexico. He attended Varnum Public Schools. Doyle married his soulmate Reta Janelle Nunnelley on December 2, 1988 and cherished his time and adventures with her until her passing on December 13, 2023.Doyle was a truck driver and worked for Hayes Axel in Seminole until his retirement. He enjoyed shooting guns, playing pool and dancing.Left to cherish Doyle’s memory are his sons; Gary Davidson and wife Beth of Kingston, Ok., Randall Davidson of Seminole, Ok., Kevin Davidson and wife Rhonda of Seminole, Ok., his daughter; Devra Liebschwager of Little, Ok., Rachel Cole and husband Brian of Seminole, Ok, Christy Babb of Seminole, Ok. his siblings; Darryl Davidson and wife Lil, Larry Davidson, Ronnie Davidson, Sr., Carolyn Tenorio, Sandy Houck and husband Joe of Oklahoma City, Ok., grandchildren; Amy Baker, Lori Swearingen, Dustin Davidson, Aaron Davidson, Tabatha Davidson, Dacia Bruce, Amanda Cumpton, Zac Conway, Blake Babb and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Reta Davidson, and many other close friends and family.Viewing for Doyle will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Emmons officiating. Burial will follow at the Davidson Family Cemetery in Seminole, Ok. Casket bearers will be Randall Davidson, Dwayne Castle, Anthony Davidson, Dustin Davidson, Aaron Davidson, Beau Swearingen, Adam Baker and Colton Riegel. Honorary bearers will be Gary Davidson, Darryl Davidson, Larry Davidson, Ronnie Davidson, Cylus Williams and Kevin Riegel.
