Robert W. Sabo age 92, of Holland, formerly of Grosse Pointe, died Saturday, May 2, 2026 at an area care center.
He attended the University of Michigan and was an agent for AAA Insurance until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan and was an staunch supporter of The Maize and Blue. He attended Culver Military Academy and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War.
Robert was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paige Pringle and is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joan (Rollings), daughters, Susan Taylor, Lisa (Bill) Pringle of Holland; 3 grandchildren, Robert (Mariana) Taylor, Lauren (Collin Meier) Taylor-Meier, Billy (Lisa) Pringle; 2 great grandchildren, Robert Taylor and Ila Pringle.
Interment will take place in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
