The family of Ronald Keefe Reynolds of Norwalk, OH announces his passing, and invites all who knew him to remember him here.
What follows is a brief look at the life his family wishes to share.
A life is built quietly, day by day.
Ronald Keefe Reynolds, 71, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away May 5, 2026. Born September 12, 1954, in Bartow, Florida, to Franklin Rogers Reynolds and Margaret "Momo" Elizabeth McClain. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Niagara Falls, New York, where Keefe grew up and where many of his lifelong memories were made.
Keefe spent his youth in Niagara Falls and grew up alongside his beloved Irish twin sister, Margie White of Norwalk, Ohio. He also maintained close and meaningful relationships with his cousins, Cathy Tobey of Lewiston, New York, and Donna Broussard of Andalusia, Alabama, bonds that remained important to him throughout his life.
At just 17 years old, Keefe joined the United States Marine Corps, serving with pride and later receiving an honorable discharge. The discipline and resilience he developed during his service stayed with him throughout his life.
Keefe later married his first wife, Michele, with whom he adopted his daughter, Jeanine Holmes. Shortly thereafter, his son, Joshua Jacob Reynolds, was born-a role Keefe valued deeply. Over the years, Keefe earned his GED and worked a variety of jobs, including driving a cab in Niagara Falls, a job that suited his independent spirit.
Following his first divorce, Keefe married Sharon Reynolds. They lived together in Niagara Falls before eventually relocating to Norwalk, Ohio, where Keefe spent many years. Sharon currently resides at Gaymont Nursing Care and Rehabilitation in Norwalk.
Keefe became a familiar sight around Norwalk, often riding his scooter through town. He enjoyed gambling, playing pool, and making his well-known "special brownies." Known for being a very picky eater, Keefe had his preferences and routines. While he didn't always enjoy being around large crowds, he loved his family fiercely and showed that love with loyalty and devotion.
Keefe will be deeply missed by his wife, Sharon Reynolds; his son, Josh (Renee) Reynolds of North Tonawanda, New York; his sister, Margie (Cal) White of Norwalk, Ohio; his niece, Tracy Whaley of Toledo, Ohio; and his nephew, Tom (Kathy) Stewart of Norwalk, Ohio, along with extended family and friends.
Keefe will be cremated, and his ashes will be laid to rest on his mother's grave-a final act of coming home to the woman who meant so much to him.
