The family of Rory Marshall of Grain Valley, MO announces his passing, and invites all who knew him to remember him here.

What remains is memory — and the gratitude of those he loved.

Rory held deeply to the Latter-day Saints faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Faith gave Rory a place to stand, and a place to return to.

Rory Marshall

Rory was the son of Jane and Roy Marshall, and the nephew of Walsia Marshall. He leaves behind his loving wife, Rochelle Marshall; his son and daughter-in-law, Grant and Caitlin Marshall; and his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and David Jenkins. He was a proud grandfather to 8 beautiful grandchildren; Carlos, Javier, Lucia, Andres, Niyah, Lilliana, Aaron, and Lucas.

He was a devoted member of the LDS Church and a man of strong moral character who lived his values every day both in serving the church and within the walls of his home. He had a competitive spirit-he could beat anyone at Monopoly-and a love for Bridge, photography, and Mexican food. He also had a special gift for humor, often making up his own song lyrics just to make us laugh. He loved deeply; not a man afraid to share his feelings. And true to who he was, he would talk your ear off on any subject saying in 100 words what most would say in two.

More than anything, he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. His legacy lives on in his family, in the laughter he gave us, and in the values, he instilled in all who knew him. We love you, always.
