The family of Terry Lynn Cason Sr. of Cordele, GA announces his passing, and invites all who knew him to remember him here.

These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.

Terry held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

A life of faith is rarely a life of certainty — but always one of trust.

With heavy hearts, but deep faith in God's promises, we share that our beloved husband, dad, and granddaddy, Terry Lynn Cason Sr. went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025. Dad lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to his family. He loved the simple blessings God gave him, working in his garden, building with his hands, spending time outdoors, and most of all being surrounded by the people he loved. His Bible was never far from reach, and his walk with the Lord guided how he lived and loved others everyday. He was a faithful member of Third Street Baptist Church and a man who quietly led by example, through kindness, steady strength, and unwavering faith. Above all, he cherished his family. Being a husband, father, and grandfather brought him his greatest joy. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Eddie Bryant Cason and Frances Steve Brown Cason, and his son, Nickolas Bryant Cason. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of nearly 48 years, Jamie Page Cason; his children, Terry Lynn Cason, Jr., and Susan Cason Arnett (Nicholas); and his treasured grandchildren, Tanner Cason, Preston Arnett, Olivia Arnett, Hunter Cason, and Jana Cason, who will always carry his love and legacy in their hearts; and a brother in law Prince Page. While we grieve his absence, we rejoice knowing he is healed, whole, and resting in the arms of Jesus. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Home. A celebration of Terry's life will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Third Street Baptist Church, followed by burial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
