Terry Robert McQuown, 72, was surrounded by love when he passed on May 1, 2026, reuniting with his parents and brother.After raising his family in Canal Fulton, Terry retired from GE in 2015 and lived a life filled with love, freedom, adventure, and connection. Terry was spirited, fearless, caring, and loyal. Beneath his tough exterior was a proud Dad and Papa who loved his family deeply. He cherished creating moments—big and small—with his grandchildren that will always be remembered.He enjoyed the wind in his hair on his motorcycle, tackling construction projects, helping others, and being a loyal friend to many.Terry is survived by his children: Ben McQuown (Leah); Josh (wife Alicia) McQuown; and his beloved daughter; grandchildren, Gavin (fiancé Amelia), Brody, Elise, Elizabeth, Kingsley, Jace, Silas, Peyton, and Samantha. Terry will be remembered for his independence, his larger-than-life personality, and the impact he left on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.Visitation will be held SATURDAY, May 9, 2026, 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm with Fr. Jeremy Merzweiler officiating.
