Thelma Ann Allum, age 75, of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on May 4, 2026, at the Morgantown Heights Nursing Facility. Born on December 29, 1950, she was the beloved daughter of Delbert Nestor and Lucinda 'Lue' Miller Nestor.Thelma was a proud graduate of Morgantown High School and dedicated her career as a clinical associate at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a dietician at Sundale Nursing Home, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and expertise.A passionate outdoorswoman, Thelma found great joy in deer hunting and traveling with her late husband, David Allum, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Together, they lovingly built their home, a true testament to their partnership and commitment to each other. Thelma was Methodist by faith.Thelma is survived by her three nephews, John Nestor (Tracy Cline), Tracy S. Nestor (Christine), David Nestor, and Gary Nestor; her niece, Linda Carmody; her great-nephew, Daniel L. Nestor; and her sister-in-law, Janet Nestor. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Tiny, Sissy, Snowball, Snowy, Grey, and Kelly.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, and her two brothers, Delbert Nestor, Jr. and David Nestor, and sister-in-law Susie Franks.Friends will gather on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 S. High St. Morgantown, WV 26501 from 10:30 AM until time of services at 12:30 PM with Pastor Stacy Tritt officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.In this time of mourning, Thelma's family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in honoring a remarkable woman whose memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
