Willa held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

A life of faith is rarely a life of certainty — but always one of trust.

Willa Sue Sumner Secondine went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of ninety-one.Sue was born on August 6, 1934, in Vinita to CF and Opal Berry Sumner. Sue grew up on a farm three miles west of Vinita on Highway 66. Sue was a 1952 graduate of Vinita High School and proud member of the VHS marching band, playing the snare drum. Following high school, Sue attended Hilcrest School of Nursing obtaining her LPN nursing license.Sue and Howard Secondine were married Sept 26, 1952, at White Oak Baptist Church, where she is a member. After living in Houston TX and Tulsa, OK, Sue and Howard returned home to Vinita in 1968 working side by side in their insurance business.Sue is survived by her husband of 72 years, Howard, Three daughters, Debbie Dixon (Terry), Judy Floyd (Gerald), and Kathy Millikan (John) all of Vinita. Sue was affectionately known as Nanaw to six grandchildren, Kim Loges (Lonnie), Amber Bennett (Casey), Jerod Floyd (Kara), Jeff Floyd (Tiffany), John Floyd (Cassie) and Nicole Millikan as well as eleven great-grandchildren ages 26 to 5 years. Also surviving are siblings Wini King and Carter Sumner of Tulsa and Millie Bryant (Bob) of Suwanee, GA and brother-in-law Scott Secondine, Tulsa and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Sue was preceded in death by her parents, beloved grandson Todd Pitcher, treasured brothers and sisters-in-law Roy King, Stephanie Sumner, Ravenna and Pete Preston, Shirley and Paul Staubus and Joyce Secondine.A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Andrew Haire officiating. Final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery Vinita, Oklahoma.
