Irene Jones, age 71, of Manchester, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 from Frontal Temporal Dementia. She was born on December 7, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Irene shared more than 52 years of marriage with her husband, Terry. Together, they raised three children-Nathan, Sarah and Aaron-and are proud grandparents to Eliana, Olivia and Mateo. Irene retired from Washington University.
Irene was preceded in death by her father, Roy Huff (1969), and her mother, Hazel Huff (2018). She is survived by her husband, Terry Jones; her children, Nathan Jones, Sarah Oehlerking, and Aaron Jones; and her three grandchildren.
