James A. Timmons, 74, years old passed away on May 3, 2026 in Childress, Texas.
James was born May 8, 1951 to the late Leland Timmons and Sibyl (Daffern) Timmons.
Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Northfield Cemetery with Dr. Dee Green officiating assisted by Leck Fuston.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Johnson Funeral Home.
James was a christian gentleman with an unshakable faith who loved his family. He had a passion for photography and wildlife. His family will remember him for his patience; no matter how bad things got he always saw beauty.

Grand Daughter: Piper Timmons of Edmond, Ok
Grand Daughter: Ava Timmons of Edmond, Ok
Great Grand Son: Cutter Beavers of Little Elm, Tx
Great Grand Daughter: Raegan Beavers of Little Elm, Tx
Great Grand Son: Ropyr Spanos of Little Elm, Tx
Great Grand Daughter: Clara Harris of Childress, Tx
Great Grand Son: Samuel Harris of Childress, Tx
Brother: Tim Timmons of Childress, Tx
Along with numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members.
James is preceded in death by his father Leland Timmons and mother Sibyl (Daffern) Timmons.
