James M. Davis of Wallingford, CT has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Years are made of mornings, and mornings of moments.
James (Jim) Davis passed away on April 22nd, 2026. Born in Harrisburg, PA on May 31st, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Ann (Baran) Davis. Jim settled in Wallingford, CT, where he married the love of his life, Veronica (Bonnie) Davis, in April of 1959. Together they resided in Southington, South Meriden, Middletown, and Cromwell, CT.
Jim spent several years at Prudential before founding his own financial planning firm, Capital Planning Consultants, in Cromwell. He later partnered with his oldest son, Jim Davis IV, until his own retirement in 2020. In his retirement years, Jim looked forward to weekend dinners out and the regular breakfast gatherings with his sons and/or close circle of friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jim Davis IV. and his wife Mary, Brian Davis and his wife Patricia, and Paul Davis and his wife Lisa; his grandchildren, Benjamin Davis and his wife Mariana, Adam Davis and his wife Amanda, Michael Davis and his wife Stacia, Ashley Ey and her husband Ryan, Casey and Jonah Wise, Adam Daigle, and Heather Davis; his great-grandchildren, Katie, Logan, Adriana, Michael, Gianna, Isabella, and Wyatt; and his sister, Judy LaCava, and her husband Joe.
