Jennifer Poole of Opelika, AL has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Some lives speak quietly; her is one such story.

Some people pass through; others leave a path.

Jennifer Poole, 49, of Tallassee, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of nearly 30 years, Robert Carter; her treasured sons, Elijah Carter and Nathanial Carter; her granddaughter, Eliyah Carter, whom she truly adored; her beloved dog, "Dumplin"; her daughter-in-law, Emily Carter; her godson, Elijah Raybon; her mother-in-law, Margaret Carter; as well as her sisters-in-law, extended family, and cherished friends.

Jennifer was born on July 24, 1976, in Montgomery to her caring mother, Janet Conn, who survives her.

She will be remembered for her strength, her faith, and the deep, unwavering love she had for her family. She was an admirable and inspiring woman, mother, wife, and friend who was loved and respected by so many. Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she created and loved beyond measure. She will never be forgotten, always missed, and forever deeply loved.
