Jerry Glenn Jordan Jr. of Aberdeen, MS has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Some lives speak quietly; his is one such story.

Jerry spent his working life as ['meat cutter and later for Wren Body Works'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Some people pass through; others leave a path.

Jerry Glenn Jordan, Jr., 60, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory. Born on April 25, 1966 in Vicksburg, he was the son of Jerry Glenn Jordan, Sr. and Patsy Irene Robertson Cannon. He married the former Ewalla Harris and worked as a meat cutter and later for Wren Body Works. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family especially his grandbabies. He was a member of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Charles Petty officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Ewalla Jordan, he is survived by his mother, Patsy Cannon (Mike), Amory; two sons, Zachary Jordan (Audrey), Cason and Timothy Jordan (Kaitlyn), Amory; one daughter, Erin Barnett (Brent), Amory; two sisters, Crystal Jordan, Amory and Misty Crenshaw (Chris), Amory; 7 grandchildren, Ethan Barnett (Addi), Mattie Jordan, Aubrey Barnett, Kinsley Jordan, Olivia Jordan, Ellie Barnett, and soon to be, Jase Jordan; one great grandchild, Tanner Barnett; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Glenn Jordan, Sr.; and his grandparents, Chester and Irene Robertson and Robert and Hattie Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Trey Brunetti, Cody Jordan, Lucas Gustavsen, Colt Tyler, Austin Hathcock, Jack Buchanan, Johnathon Capel, and David McBunch.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from noon until the service hour.
