Jerry Jolliff of Centralia, IL, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

What we offer here is gratitude wrapped in remembrance.

Some doors close softly, and still leave the room changed.

Jerry Blair Jolliff, age 59, of Centralia IL., passed away on May 1, 2026 at his home in Centralia.

Born on April 11, 1967 in Las Vegas, NV to Jerry & Marilyn Jolliff.

He is survived by wife, Denise West-Jolliff. Children, Devane Prince & wife Kristin of Carmi, IL, Ceara Meyer & husband Josh of Highland, IL. Siblings, Barri Allen of Centralia, IL, Sonya Gettinger & husband Mike of Centralia IL, Brock Jolliff & wife Stacey of Centralia IL., and Jessica Koelling & husband Vinny of Centralia IL., 5 grandchildren Jax, Jameson, Quinn, Oli & Olive and many nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jay Jolliff.

He began his education at St. Mary's Catholic School before attending Mater Dei Catholic High School, where he proudly wore #44 on the football field. His love for the game continued at Millikin University, where he also played collegiate football.

A man of strong faith, he devoted his life to following God and was an active member of The Rock Church. His faith guided the way he lived and the relationships he built.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures - spending time fishing, weight lifting, and following the teams he loved. He was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, and followed the Dallas Cowboys with his son.

He will be remembered for his dedication to faith, his passion for sports, and the strength and spirit he brought to those who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, on Monday, May 11th, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Jerry's life will take place at the same location on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Celebrate Recovery and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, IL 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Jerry's family.
