Obituary of Joan Brueckheimer

Joan (Dilks) Brueckheimer passed away on May 3, 2026, at Cedar Grove Respiratory Center in Williamstown.

She was born in Vineland to the late Josephine and Alfred Dilks. After high school she hitchhiked out west with her close friends and made a home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She became a nurse and loved her occupation because she was able to travel to many states as a traveling nurse. She loved traveling and seeing new places.

Her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren still live out West to this day; however, Joan moved back to New Jersey where she resided prior to her death.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Brueckheimer; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Lauren and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Owen; her brothers, Samuel, Chester, Terrance, Roy and Michael; her sister, Sandra; and many cousins. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, D'Ann Mary Clanton; and her brothers, Alfred, Edward and Timothy Dilks.

Services will be held at a later date.

ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360
