Lisa Marie Hall of Carterville, IL has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Lisa spent her working life as ['Maytag and previously at Aisin'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Years are made of mornings, and mornings of moments.

Lisa Marie Hall, 48, of Herrin, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Herrin Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Derek Finney officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to her son, Dawson Hall.
Lisa was born on February 2, 1978, in Herrin, to Sharon Ann (Zeidler) and Charles Dewey Samples. She married Douglass Andrew Hall on July 13, 2002, in Marion.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Hall; son, Dawson Hall; father, Charles (Raelynn) Samples; twin sister, Michelle DeCoursey; brother, Donald (Mindy) Samples; aunt, Donna (Randy) Hammonds; grandmother, Violet "Meemaw" Spiller; mother-in-law, Jan Lenon; father-in-law, Randall (Heather) Hall; brothers-in-law, Brodie (Samantha) Lenon, Casey Lenon, and Noah Hall; nieces and nephews, Austin Samples (Keely), Macey Samples (Jared), Cole Samples (Loran), and Sylvia Lenon; great niece and nephew, Grayson and Saylor Samples; her beloved dog, Pepper Ann; bonus nieces, Allison, Paige, and Annie Berry; plus numerous cousins and dear friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Ann Samples; father-in-law, George Lenon; grandparents, Faye Morse, and Ferman and Lorraine Samples.
Lisa had worked at Maytag and previously at Aisin. She spent much of her time alongside her sister, Michelle, creating crafts with their cousin, Stephanie.
Lisa loved life and cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed yard sales, thrifting, and playing cards. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her son, Dawson.
A natural caregiver with a true servant's heart, Lisa was a tremendous help in caring for her aunt Karen during her illness. She loved people deeply-especially spending time with babies and children. Lisa also found great happiness in time spent at the ocean.
