Lyle Richard Buck of Hollister, MO, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Lyle Richard Buck, 79, of Hollister, passed away on May 1, 2026, in Hollister, Missouri. Born November 1, 1946, in Blaine, Minnesota, Lyle grew up in Minnesota and honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he dedicated his career to micro control engineering.
Lyle married his precious wife, Dahlia, on January 28, 2010, in Tagum City, Philippines. Together, they shared a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Lyle enjoyed traveling, watching football, working on his laptop, reading, loves children and visiting the beaches. Five years ago, he moved to Branson from the Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mildred Buck; his brothers, Robert and Thomas Buck; and his first wife Virginia Buck. Lyle is survived by his loving wife, Dahlia Buck of Hollister; children, Ma. Christine Tharnish (Devin) of Branson, Peter Buck (Annie), Christa (Dave); granddaughter, Kelsie Buck; and siblings, John Buck (Jeanne) and children, Teresa Buck (Sheldon) and children, and Judy (Mike) and children; Aunt: Lois; all residing in Minnesota.
Funeral services to honor Lyle's life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 10:00 am in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson with full military honors.
