Mark David Walsh of Conley, GA, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Mark David Walsh, a proud husband, father and United States Army veteran, passed away peacefully in his home on April 24, 2026. He was 74 years old.
Born on August 19, 1951, to John and Mary Walsh, Mark was raised with his brother Tom in Walled Lake, Michigan. He became a talented musician and worked in the automotive industry in Motor City before relocating to Atlanta with his family for work in 1983. He joined the Army in 1985 and served his country for five years. He spent over 30 years as a skilled auto body repairman and was known for his steady hands and generous spirit.
In his later years, Mark was a caregiver for a close friend and fellow veteran, and he took great pride in that role.
Mark married Rosemarie Koskey in 2017, and they lived together happily in Conley, GA during the remainder of his years. Mark will be remembered for his kind heart, passion for music, loyal friendship, and deep love for his family.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Rosemarie Walsh; his children,Tawny Varlamoff (Neil); stepdaughter Christina Chiaro; his grandchildren, Violet and Jack Varlamoff; and his brother, Thomas Walsh.
A private service will be held to honor his life and service at a later date. He will be deeply missed.
