After a life of love and quiet grace, Angeline "Angie" Veleke Tank of Waupun, WI has passed.

Angeline “Angie” Veleke Tank, age 97, of Waupun, passed away May 4, 2026.Angie was born April 3, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Ella (Wendlandt) Aarts. She was confirmed and a charter member of First Reformed Church in Waupun and attended Waupun schools. On October 31, 1947 she married Wayne Veleke. Wayne passed away on February 10, 1995. On November 10, 2007 Angie married Robert Tank and he passed away on May 8, 2013. Angie lived her life in Waupun and enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, music, and reading.Angie is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Brian) Ball of Waupun; daughters-in-law, Debbie Veleke of Waupun and Sue Veleke of Montello; two grandchildren: Lynzi (Matt) Ball-Gardipee and Jessica (Jim) Jaeger; two great-grandchildren: Mitchell and Joshua; and a very special friend, Ruby Westhuis.Angie was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Veleke and Bob Tank; sons: Dennis Veleke and Jerry Veleke; three sisters; a brother; baby, Corrin Jaeger; and a very special friend of more than 50 years, Bridge Haima.Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11 am at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Barry Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 9 am until the time of service.
