After a life of love and quiet grace, Billy Edward Thompson of London, KY has passed.

Billy Edward Thompson, a devoted family man and lifelong truck driver, passed away surrounded by the love of those who knew him best. Billy was known for his strong work ethic, his love of the open road, and his passion for racing cars-something that brought him great joy throughout his life.
Billy spent his years working as a truck driver, a profession he took pride in and dedicated himself to fully. When he wasn't on the road, he could often be found enjoying the thrill of car racing, a hobby that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for speed.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Letha Thompson and Brenda Hall of London, Kentucky; his brothers, Ricky Thompson of Manchester, Kentucky and Lonnie Thompson of Covington, Kentucky; a special niece; Tara Sandlin and his cherished aunts, Catherine Eastwood of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Lois Smith of London, Kentucky. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
Billy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Gail Gross Thompson; his cherished nephew, Jonathan Edward Thompson; his paternal grandmother, Emma Vaughn Thompson; his paternal grandfather, Robert Thompson; his father, Robert Edward Thompson, Jr. ; his mother, Ora Thompson; his maternal grandparents; Pearl and Ninnie Thompson, his sisters, Peggy Frazier and Mickey White; and his brother, Johnny Thompson.
Billy will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking nature, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service for Billy Edward Thompson will be held by the family at a later date.
