Dorothy Kane, age 58, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly due to cardiac arrest. She was born on May 24, 1967, to Ann Rosier (Malpass) and Gene Rosier.Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and father; her grandmothers, Irene Rosier and Georgia Malpass; and many other loved ones. She leaves behind her stepfather, Theodore Wise; her daughter, Amber Smith; her son, Michael Kane II; her grandchildren, Connor, William, and Liliana Smith; her partner, Frank Rawl; and her stepson, Lucas Rawl.Dorothy loved her family and friends fiercely. She will be remembered for her buoyant personality, and her willingness to always lend a helping hand. She was a one of a kind mom and "G-Ma."At Dorothy's request, her ashes will be spread at sea during a private celebration of life. She wished for everyone to remember her as she lived: happy and thriving.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
