After a life of love and quiet grace, Dorothy Mary Willin of Glenview, IL has passed.

Dorothy Mary Willin, was born June 7, 1952, in Chicago to William and Dorothy Willin, and passed away May 1, 2026. She was the loving sister of John (Cheryl) Mecher, William Willin, Christine Botten, and Paul Willin; cherished aunt, great aunt and great great aunt of many.

Dorothy grew up in Glenview and graduated from Glenbrook South High School. She devoted more than 26 years to Jewel-Osco at Plaza del Prado, where she was known as a dedicated and reliable employee. She had a deep love for animals and lived her life with independence and quiet strength. Above all, she cherished her family. Her kindness touched everyone who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warm heart and gentle spirit.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 9 from 9 am until time of the Mass at 10 am at St. Catherine Laboure, 3535 Thornwood Glenview. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance
